New Milford Community-Led Suicide Prevention (CLSP) Coalition

The objectives of the Coalition are to:

Provide local partners with skills and information necessary to achieve success in adopting or expanding suicide prevention efforts

·         Assist in developing strategic plans and implementing strategies for effective suicide prevention and postvention

·         Encourage collaboration among local suicide prevention partners in the interest of mentorship and support

·         Run mental health promoting and suicide prevention campaigns and events in the community

Local Coalition Membership

All are welcome, especially youth! Teams consist of members of the indicated community, ideally with some form of decision-making authority and/or a leadership role that enables them to support community suicide prevention.
