Local Prevention Councils
The 43 towns in our service area are all served by a Local Prevention Council (LPC).
These are grassroots coalitions are comprised of various stakeholders from 12 sectors
of the community. The LPCs build local capacity to plan and implement substance use/misuse prevention strategies to reduce problem behaviors and associated negative outcomes for all ages. They also promote mental health and wellness.
